Originally, I was brought into the project to help Kaping's dev team with some CSS issues they were having but quickly transitioned to help them with their site redesign.

When I was brought onto the project, the site was not yet responsive, and the design was bordering on dated. The first step was to meet with the development team and go over the site map and get a good feel for the complexity of the project (the backend was already in place but this site was one of the most in-depth, deep projects I've worked on with search listings and agent dashboards, paid advertisements, etc.). We worked on initial wireframes that kept the current navigation links intact (a requirement) but we were able to rearrange as needed.

After demonstrating the flow of the site and gathering feedback, we reworked some areas and reached consensus and moved onto hi-fidelity mockups.

This was a very in-depth project that required a great many design mockups (numbering close to 100!), but it was a fun project to work on.
